When you use our contact form, we collect:

• Your email address
• The subject and content of your message
• Your IP address (used only for spam prevention)

We do not collect data through any other means on this website. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies.

2. Why we collect it

We use your data to:

• Respond to your enquiry about our hood supply and fitting services
• Protect the website from spam and abuse (via rate limiting and Google reCAPTCHA)

3. Legal basis

We process your data under legitimate interest (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — specifically, to respond to enquiries you have chosen to send us, and to protect our website from abuse.

4. How long we keep your data

We retain enquiry emails only for the duration of the work related to your enquiry. Once the work is complete or the enquiry is resolved, your data is deleted. IP addresses used for rate limiting are stored temporarily and automatically expire within 10 minutes.

5. Third parties

We use the following third-party services:

• Google reCAPTCHA v3 — to prevent spam submissions. reCAPTCHA may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and interaction data. This data is processed by Google under their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Google Maps — embedded on our location section. Google may collect data when you interact with the map. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any other third parties.
